Denver Elite Lacrosse is a lacrosse club program run out of the University of Denver by Bill Tierney, Trevor Tierney and Matt Brown. DE consists of two youth teams and three high school teams that practice together and play in fall and summer tournaments. We also have DE youth box lacrosse teams that are picked from our youth winter indoor leagues. Those teams travel to indoor tournaments in Canada and California.

Players who tryout for Denver Elite will work with an amazing NCAA Division I college staff. Players will experience practices that are very close to the ones that the DU lacrosse program goes through. Denver Elite will consist of top class coaching from the Pioneers' staff including former Team USA and MLL All-Star goalie Trevor Tierney and former MLL All- Star attackman Matt Brown. Teams and practices will be overseen and planned by six time national champion and Hall of Fame lacrosse Coach Bill Tierney. For more information on our coaching staff, go to their bios on the staff button above in the navigation bar.

We believe that coaching is a much bigger job than just teaching the game of lacrosse. We want the experience that players have with Denver Elite to be one of the best athletic experiences that they ever have. We hope to shape them into great lacrosse players and that this also helps make them great young men off the field. Finally, we feel that this is a great way to bring our community together in a way that we all enjoy!

We have youth teams for U-9, U-11, U-13, U-15 and high school teams for the 2013 / 2014, 2015, 2016 graduating classes.

Any boys' youth lacrosse player can take part in our program. High school players must live within a 50 mile radius of the University of Denver campus to be eligible to play on these teams.

1. We are professional coaches, not a private company. We do this on a full time basis. Our track record with our NCAA DU team is proof itself in our ability to coach. We care about the game and the young men that we get to work with more than we care about surviving as a company.

2. Our kids and families love working with us! Check out our testimonials. People have a blast with our programs and we are always open to improving the experience.

3. We are the only team in Colorado that is a member of the NSCLA. The NSCLA is a non-profit group that is an association of all the best club teams in the country, including the Baltimore Crabs, the CNY Roadhawks, Long Island Express, Edge Lacrosse and many more! For more information, check out .

4. Top individual recruiting tournaments from around the country ask for our recommendations. For the top level players, it is important for them to go to some of the showcase tournaments and many camps such as the Adrenaline High Rollers, Top 205 and many others come to us to get nominations for players.

5. We teach more than just lacrosse to our players. There are a lot of players out there that may not get recruited, so we realize that this Denver Elite experience might be one of the best lacrosse opportunities that a player ever has. We teach life lessons to our DE participants because we know that lacrosse is a great teacher for players to develop into mature young men.

Most importantly, Denver Elite gives top players an opportunity to play for great college coaches, play top competition and have an amazing athletic experience.

Also, many of our players have dreams of continuing on to play lacrosse in college and we want to help them reach that dream. Denver Elite travels to the best tournaments in the fall and summer so that players get exposure to college coaches around the country. Also, due to the high level coaching staff, Denver Elite is a great way to improve your skill and knowledge of the game. Players will learn what coaches are looking for, what it takes to get recruited, and what they need to work on to be able to play at the top level in the game. We will help out our families and players in any way that we can with the recruiting process. Our competitors tell people that we only care about the players that we are recruiting for DU, but in reality that is far from the truth. We want to help all of our players as much as we can and help them find a suitable home in college.

Be clear though, that no elite team or tournament can guarantee that you will get recruited or play in college. That really comes down to the player’s work ethic and talent. At the end of the day, if a college coach thinks you are a good player and fit for his team, he will recruit you. If not, then there is not much we can do. However, we will give you many opportunities to prove yourself and teach you the best that we can to make you a better lacrosse player. The rest is up to you!

The DENVER ELITE teams are picked from our six Sunday Sessions in September and October. We understand that you may have conflicts, but it is highly encouraged for players to be at all tryouts and practices for the team. The only way that we can make this an elite level experience, is if the players involved treat it like one and take it seriously.

The week after the Sunday Sessions are over, we will select our Denver Elite teams. Every Denver Elite team will have 8 practices and play in four tournaments. These tournaments, dates and locations are subject to change. We will have a more definitive plan by the time tryouts are over, but this is what it is looking like right now.
