We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a FREE youth coaches clinic at the University of Denver in January, 2011. This clinic will be offered to all CYLA coaches who wish to attend and is geared towards coaching third through eight graders. One of our main goals at the University of Denver is to help raise the level of play in Colorado. We already have a tremendous amount of great coaches out here and we simply hope to support everyone in their efforts to provide Colorado lacrosse players with the best experience possible. We will be covering all the basics for offense, defense and goalie play, which we feel will give young players a great base to become an outstanding lacrosse player as they grow older. We will also cover some basic offensive and defensive sets, as well as rides and clears, that coaches can institute on their own team. Depending on the weather, we also have the turf to do some on-field demonstration. Finally, there will be a question and answer session to try and cover whatever else you would like help on for coaching your youth team. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

DATE AND TIME: Saturday, January 22nd, 2011 : Come watch DU practice at 8AM and then we will have clinic from 10AM to 1PM. The clinic will be based off of practice, so please try to get here for both!
